QUERI Participates in iEX Conference

VHA’s Innovation Ecosystem is the catalyst for enabling the discovery and spread of mission-driven healthcare innovation to advance care delivery and provide optimal care to all Veterans. VA’s 2023 Innovation Experience (iEX) Conference was held from October 31, 2023 to November 2, 2023 in Washington, DC. This event provided innovators, VA employees, Veterans, industry leaders, and researchers with an opportunity to shape the future and redefine how VA approaches health care for Veterans, using innovation to make lasting improvements.

Secretary of VA Denis McDonough welcomed attendees, including thought leaders from government, industry, and academia. New to iEX, breakout sessions focused on four major themes: 1) What is VHA innovation? 2) Mastering Innovation; 3) Training and Education; and 4) Connect & Collaborate. QUERI investigators Dr. George Jackson and Ms. Brandolyn White presented a poster highlighting key impacts from QUERI and Diffusion of Excellence’s six-year partnership.
