Resources and Tools
CIPRS and QUERI have contributed to the development of the following resources and tools related to implementation science and quality improvement methods.
QUERI Implementation Guide
The Implementation Guide introduces the approaches to doing research on implementation. The Implementation Guide site includes information on:
- Applying Frameworks, Theories, and Models
- Diagnosing a Gap and Designing and Intervention
- Methods Used in Implementing Research into Practice
- Formative Evaluation
Quality Improvement (QI) Methods Selection Tool
The QI Methods Selection Tool website provides information on some of the more widely used QI methods or tools an implementation researcher may find useful. The website also includes an interactive tool that allows researchers to enter attributes of their research project and be presented with QI methods which offer capabilities most relevant to the research.
The Team Development Measure (TDM) is a survey constructed to promote quality improvement in team-based healthcare settings. This website provides more information about the TDM and a link to an automated online system for collecting TDM survey results from your team members.
Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR)
This website provides information about the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). This site is created for individuals considering using the CFIR to evaluate an implementation or design an implementation study. The site includes an interactive interview guide tool, observation template, and qualitative codebook templates to facilitate the integration of CFIR into study design.
