As a QUERI-funded resource center, CEIR provides time-sensitive consultation and support to VA operations leaders to enable scale-up and spread of effective policies, practices, and programs aligned with VA priorities.

CEIR’s services are particularly relevant during the Pre-Implementation and Implementation phases to develop a rigorous implementation and evaluation plan to support the rapid uptake of programs across diverse clinical sites and settings. Learn more.

Consultation services

CEIR is dedicated to providing individualized, time-sensitive consultation and support to VA policymakers, managers, providers, and researchers on evaluation and implementation methods and practices. Outcomes from our consultations help to foster both working and collaborative efforts among partners while enabling scale-up and spread of promising innovations and effective policies, programs, and practices.

Common topics of CEIR consultations include:

Identification of key collaborators, linkages to best practice resources
Discussions of potential funding opportunities
Review and feedback on planned project methods
Connections to learning/training opportunities
Recommendations for strategic planning to support project success within a VA setting
