The mission of the HIV/Hepatitis QUERI is to implement evidence-based research into practices to improve the identification and patient care of Veterans infected with the Human Immunodeficiency (HIV) and Hepatitis C (HCV) viruses.
In collaboration with leading HIV/HCV clinical and scientific experts and VA operation partners, our continued priority is to better understand the clinical practice of these viruses in VHA to guide our research agenda. In this collaborative process, we successfully identify and refine important upcoming research questions in the field of HIV and HCV that will most advance the science in this area and assist in improving care delivery in VHA.
